Na een lange start met veel optredens in het studentencircuit van Delft komt de groep tot een solide line-up en neemt het een eerste demo op: \u201cFor Goat\u2019s Sake\u201d. Het vuur breidt zich langzaam uit, ondersteund door de\u00a0balkan-hype van het moment. Na het debuutalbum \u201cGipsy Trouble\u201d in 2011 speelt de band op Oerol, Festival Mundial (Tilburg) en diverse Bevrijdingsfestivals. Diverse tours door Europa volgen.<br \/>L\u2019Chaim is bijzonder in zijn genre vanwege de samensmelting van muzikale stijlen en de afkomst en achtergrond van de verschillende muzikanten. Zo wordt er door de 3 vocalisten in maar liefst 10<br \/>uiteenlopende talen gezongen. Het repertoire van de groep bestaat voornamelijk uit eigen werk, aangevuld met klezmer-traditionals en zigeunermuziek van de balkan.<br \/>De variatie, virtuositeit\u00a0en tomeloze podiumenergie maakt het een lust om naar L\u2019Chaim te kijken. De band komt dan ook live het best tot zijn recht. Na een lange start met veel optredens in het studentencircuit van Delft komt de groep tot een solide line-up en neemt het een eerste demo op: \u201cFor Goat\u2019s Sake\u201d. Het vuur breidt zich langzaam uit, ondersteund door de\u00a0balkan-hype van het moment. Na het debuutalbum \u201cGipsy Trouble\u201d in 2011 speelt de band op Oerol, Festival Mundial (Tilburg) en diverse Bevrijdingsfestivals. Diverse tours door Europa volgen.L\u2019Chaim is bijzonder in zijn genre vanwege de samensmelting van muzikale stijlen en de afkomst en achtergrond van de verschillende muzikanten. Zo wordt er door de 3 vocalisten in maar liefst 10uiteenlopende talen gezongen. Het repertoire van de groep bestaat voornamelijk uit eigen werk, aangevuld met klezmer-traditionals en zigeunermuziek van de balkan.De variatie, virtuositeit\u00a0en tomeloze podiumenergie maakt het een lust om naar L\u2019Chaim te kijken. De band komt dan ook live het best tot zijn recht. Elk optreden een feestje waar jong en oud komt luisteren naar dit koekje van exotisch eigen deeg.
